*The scholarship will be awarded through the foundation under its name or under the name of other scholarship organizations or individuals earmarking scholarships on their behalf of beloved ones or specific reasons and causes. All are or will be associated with “NDAF.”
 

Scholarship application Deadline and Requirements: (Transcripts must be on file in Admissions) and letters of recommendation must be postmarked by April1/2025 to the above address. Scholarship winners will be announced May 1, 2025.​

Letters of Recommendation: Please provide one letter from one of the following: school official (preferably a guidance counselor or Dean of Students), community leader, individual.​

PLEASE write a short essay with introduction, support, and a conclusion. Answer either one of the two questions below in paragraph format. Your support should be from reliable sources with statistics

(Ex; the percentage of teens effected by gun violence) and facts (Ex: Gun violence in the Tri-State community's effect.

 

1. Gun violence is a serious problem in America.  What do you think about gun violence and how do it effect the community?

 

2. Is there a correlation (relationship) between guns and crime. How do different gun control measures like background checks or assault weapon bans impact gun violence (how would this reduce gun violence in your community)? ​​​​
